BD3illustrations

It's been a while like my last journal entry on DA, but who's reading these anyway :p who cares.... While I've been complimented for my apparent writing skills, I haven't grasped the idea of delving into possibilities within the written word... I guess my mind works to convey my message textually, but to create a story, I hit a wall... haha, I just don't have the mindset to be an author... Maybe one day! BUT regardless I don't do these journals enough, and that could be a catalyst to help break that writing wall down... Who knows... Well since last my words hit a journal here on DA, only one or two interesting things have happened so there

Had a few freelance gigs doing concept logo/poster designs for Live Nation. One was for Brad Paisley's upcoming summer tour, the other was for World Vision's new music fest endeavor or something like that.... Been working on these Cubs/Chicago Chicks are Cuter designs, trying to find a way to sell them on t-shirts and shit. Got a job at Home Depot for the time being, until I can get a real job... and been updating my various pages on facebook, myspace, google, and my main web page which is proudly now: www.bd3illustrations.com! Not a helluva lot more to talk about... hopefully something better will come up soon...

This is the professional me, under the pseudo-business name "BD3 Illustrations" as I have no real "Press Release" information, to date this is what I'm good for... My work can be seen in former White Sox player and author Jack Perconte's third book "Raising An Athlete" for which, I created thirteen original cartoon illustrations. Hits store shelves in September My package designs can also be found in Walgreens stores if you happen to be in need of Moist wipes or have Athlete's Foot or Jock Itch.
